I don't remember exactly how my interest in Ireland started but it is a place I've wanted to see since childhood.
A few years ago I made the decision that we would have a nice vacation for our 10th anniversary so we agreed that it was time to see Ireland. Sure we considered someplace closer to home, cheaper, and warmer but Ireland has been calling for a long time, time to answer.

I married my wonderful Wife 10 years ago, had an awesome son who is about to be 4 years old. Unfortunately being only 4 we doubt he would remember this trip and limit what we could do with our short time there that we made one of our toughest decisions as parents and decided that he would stay at home with grandparents this time. But with modern technology at least we will be able to talk with him often and reassure him Dada and Mama will be home soon which should make us...um...him feel better.

About me - I like to watch how to videos on youtube, I like to build things, I like to fix things, I like teaching my son new things and watching him try to copy me. I like cuddling in bed watching a comedy with my wife.
About my Wife - She likes to read, visit with family, play board games, she likes to write music and play guitar. she truly is a great Wife and Mother.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We will be traveling to Ireland next year for our 10th anniversary and would like to make some friends there to visit. We had originally planned on booking b&bs or hotels for our entire trip but then we started to think that maybe we would get a better experience by spending some time with individuals and learning about Ireland from locals, not a guidebook. Besides the beautiful sights, we want our trip to be a cultural experience too.

My tastes in music has quite a large range but I regularly listen to country, rock , pop,, spanish , and christian. Movies I like are comedies, sci-fi and fantasy for example my favorites are Braveheart, Doctor Who, and highlander.
