I love to travel, meet different people, experience nature in a different corner of the globe, enjoy the breath-taking view from a mountain top somewhere out there… running a trail and having a good sweat at it… Couchsurfing helps in providing such an opportunity in addition to benefitting from warm/friendly accommodation and getting first-hand experience/exposure to the life and culture of the host country, it is awesome to surf and share experiences. I am somewhat shy, so surfing help overcome that hurdle at times.
