Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I was broke after college but yearned to travel abroad. I grabbed a few credit cards, bought a one-way ticket to Madrid and didn't look back. I reached out to dozens of people on this site all around Europe. Some were able to meet for coffee, ice skating or a night out. Others hosted me for up to two weeks! I made incredible friends and had more fun than I'd ever had in my life- a couple of Couchsurfing experiences were bad, but I learned how to choose my hosts wisely. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have spent time abroad- comfortably & inexpensively!

I'm on Couchsurfing because it's easier to make lasting connections with like-minded people. Many of my hosts in Europe are still friends today and because of them and this website- my life is enriched! I now live in a comfy apartment and have a steady job- I'm ready to pay it forward!
