Overview
About Me
Post-Grad who has an insatiable thirst for immersing myself in new cities, new cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Through the summer of 2014, I wanted to see some college friends, and also to the Pacific Northwest. At that time, I had been hosteling and couch-surfing my friends' places, but I want to try this option and give this a more serious try. I'm going to be seeing a couple of my college buddies in the Twin Cities later this month.
Interests
[i = prt] Interest = People * Radicalism * Tacos
Tacos rule!
Regarding that radicalism, it is definitely toward restoring the planet and the people who live in it. I spent a good amount of time in various not for profit projects advocating for trees and green living.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did an ethnographic study of an new religious movement (NRM) commune back in college, staying in a yurt somewhere in Asheville, North Carolina. It was kind of a WWOOFing arrangement, but still leave with a more interesting spring break experience than most.
Especially since I spoke about the ethnography in front of scholars at the American Academy of Religion in San Francisco. Both cities are packed with stories.
Teach, Learn, Share
Looking to hit up the night life? So am I. I'm the life of the party in most situations. Or perhaps you prefer to exchange books and ideas, from political to personal to Marvel cinematic universe rumors.
I'm also looking for people who are really into, or want to be into D&D or Magic the Gathering (I play green/white). For what I lack in international travel, I make up for interacting in fantasy realms. If that sentence didn't make you totally cringe, you're undoubtedly pretty chill.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy baking sweet breads and exploring good microbrews and witty conversations.
