About Me
***Not in Timbuktu, a dumb joke between an old friend and myself and can't seem to update. Normally located in the US but travelling frequently.***
I am a climber, and it is an all consuming part of my life! I dig travelling, definitely don't do it enough, hoping this will spur future adventures- I want to see more of the world and experience diverse cultures. I want to drink more than my fill of the cup of life!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel for work, I see very little culture. I want to see more of the local scene and have immersive cultural experiences. I hope to make my world smaller and build wonderful shared experiences and adventures with locals.
I am here to travel, learn, teach, grow, and make the world smaller!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I don't really dislike any type of music; jazz, folk, EDM & alternative are my normal go-to's.
Books: I really love to read although I don't read as much as I used to.
Sex at Dawn, The Color of Everything, The Sixth Extinction, Civilized to Death, Into the Wild, Lapvona, Alone on the Wall, Into the Void, The Chrysalids, Death of the Phantom and Satanic Verses are some of my recent reads.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Consumed more than 12,000 calories in a single 24-hour period! (during an ultra marathon & during the last days of the NFCT.)
Completed the NFCT 740 river and lake paddling in 17 days, traveling in a homemade skin-on-frame canoe.
Free soloed a 300 M off the ground.
Those are some recent highlights, we can chat more about exciting exploits in person!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am interested in learning everything! I am not the best of teachers but will happily share espresso knowledge, climbing basics to advanced techniques, canoe/kayak making and gardening tips. I love to exchange tales of adventure and misadventure alike.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A great time, fun stories, beers and a well of endless energy! I am a decent cook and love collaborating on different cuisines! I like to bring a guest gift when I am hosted!
