I am a 42-year-old self-employed single father of one most of the time, I am normally by myself on weekends and enjoy the outdoor life. I love the beach and taking my two dogs there for a swim. I enjoy cooking and eating all sorts of international foods as my heritage is half Scottish and half Czechoslovakian, but I was born in the hills east of Perth Western Australia. I made the move to the country to enjoy the peaceful lifestyle and the good fishing, and I love it!

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet some new people from around the world, I can not travel at the moment so it seems like a great way to meet lots of different people who need somewhere to stay, and may even become friends? I have met backpackers from time to time who needed somewhere to stay and offered my place, on every occasion I have had people stay it has been enjoyable for everyone. Some just come and go, but some even remain good friends to this day.

I don't really have favorite music, I will listen to just about anything. Movies are the same, I will watch most movies but I like comedy, sci- fi, action, horror or movies based on real events. I like books on history and science.

Probably the most amazing thing I have done was while on a cruise thru the pacific islands I spent the day with friends at Fiji, we drove into the mountains and went cliff diving in the most amazing crystal clear river I have ever seen! That was followed by an incredible local feed for lunch, and then followed by a few local beers to finish the day! Very unforgettable and amazing!

I can share a clean, comfortable place to stay short term. I can share space as I am on a lifestyle block with ample room, also the country experience as I have one horse, two dogs and three chickens that I look after every day.
