Hello guys!
My name is Claudio and I'm a 28 years old italian guy.
I'm hardly trying to find my place in the world but is quite difficult and challenging. 4 years ago I moved to the Netherlands, more precisely in Wageningen, where I obtained my MSc in Biotechnology at the Wageningen University. Then I've been in Lisbon where I did an internship on agricultural waste management at Instituto Superior di Agronomia. After the Portuguese experience I moved back to NL where I worked for one year on wastewater treatment as researcher. Tired of the rainy NL I decided to look for something southern and I had the opportunity to stay the last six months in the shiny Barcelona :)

I like playing football and basketball and I also studied kung fu for a couple of years. During the free time i hang out with friends and i like having dinners, partying or simply going to the park and chill out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2010 I have done an Interrail of 28 days in Benelux and I visited a lot of cities in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxebourg.
I surfed during that trip and I think it's a great experience and the best way to meet some new people and know something more about the place where you are! One year later i bacpacked through Europe (France, Spain, the Netherlands again and Germany) and also this time i experienced couchsurfing several times.

I like a lot of kind of music but I prefer blues,, funky, dub, and techno music. Among my favourite bands there are Queen Of The Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Stereophonics, Led Zeppelin, Foals, Pinback, Kings of Leon, The Chemical Brothers, Gorillaz, Radiohead, Daft Punk and many others. Even though I play the drums and i like instrumental music, techno and dub give me unique feelings!!

When i went to Mexico I had the fortune to see the Chichén Itzá pyramid, one of the new 7 wonders of the world...simply amazing!!
