Irish student currently teaching English in Argentina and planning to travel around this beautiful country!

I study German, Spanish, Linguistics and Marketing in the University of Limerick in Ireland and I am working in Argentina for the last five months. I am also studying in Germany in September too!

I love travelling and I have been to over 10 countries. I also enjoy reading, writing and cooking!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here because I want to travel around Argentina and get a first hand experience of the culture and what better way than staying with locals?

I also prefer staying with locals over staying in hotels because you learn more about not only the place but the people that you are staying with.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste varies a lot but at the moment I am very into synth pop and also Irish music.

I like all movies and my favourite genre of books is horror. I love Stephen King! I also enjoy reading spiritual books and I aspire to be like Paulo Coelho.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to University at the age of 12, I was CEO of a company, I was editor for multiple newspapers, I interviewed the Leinster rugby team, I ran a radio station for a day, I received the President of Ireland Bronze award, I placed silver in a national Scout competition, and I moved to the other side of the world at 19 to teach English in a country I have never been to where I didn't speak the language.

I can help people to learn English, Irish and German. I can also teach and show people a little about Ireland and the Irish culture, especially food, dance and music.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my cooking talents, among all of the skills I have picked up along the way in Scouts. I can also share information about my unique culture and country.

I can also share my knowledge of the English and German language with my hosts, and my love of reading and music.
