ABOUT ME

I'm easy going, quite friendly and pretty thoughtful. I'm the kind of guy that could just take a nice ride in a car and enjoy the breeze without saying a word. I'm usually thinking about math or kung fu so these types of trips suit me perfectly. I enjoy watching movies, any genre as long as it has action and good plot. I love cooking when I have the time. If you like banana bread, host me and I'll love to show you my recipe!

Do onto others as you wish them to do onto you. Can't go wrong with the golden rule.

I live life to be happy. I find happiness in knowledge and accomplishing my goals. This includes learning, loving, living.

I've never been couch surfing but I'm excited to get started.

I love 3 things: Great people, great food and the beauty of nature. I'm a mathematician by profession so most of my time is spent with pen and paper proving theorems and solving problems.

When I'm not busy with this, I enjoy exercising. I'm into kung fu, in particular northern shaolin, baguazang and tai chi. The last two are internal styles of martial arts.

I also enjoy cooking when I have the time. If it looks good and I have a recipe, I'll do it!

I love a good book. I'm waiting to receive my copy of Chris Hayes Twillight of the Elites.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Walking across the stage to receive my diploma. It felt so good to accomplish something I worked so hard for. Virtually my whole family flew to Pittsburgh to see me walk:)

Vacationing in the Dominican Republic. Practicing tai chi in the sand and enjoying fresh fruit every day. Dolphin swimming was awesome!!

Those moments when knowledge just clicked. Just in the flow and everything is right. Too many of those to count.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I'd like to think good recipes and a bit of math but that doesn't seem to sum it up. It's hard to say. Everyone gets something different from me. I try to be the best person I can be. I'd like to think that rubs off. Conversely, I learn something from everyone I meet. Open to the experience.
