We are a French woman and an American man who met while living in Singapore. Both of us traveled rather extensively and lived in a few other countries before we met, so it only makes sense that we continued to do that after we decided to intertwine our lives. We're currently traveling around the US and Europe while we wait for some immigration issues to be sorted out, so that we can start driving from the Seattle area to the tip of Argentina in our trusty Land Cruiser.

Clo is a photographer and continues to work on various festivals a few other projects while we are traveling. She helps to support the couple while her husband takes it easy and tries to understand how to relax. Matt decided to "pre-tire" from his 10+ year career in IT/telecom and take a while to write, explore the world at a more relaxed pace and discover a second career.

Both of them are very curious about the world and love meeting new people. There is always more to learn the best way to do that is explore the world and talk to people!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We had many Couchsurfing friends while living in Singapore, and decided to give it a try when we started traveling differently in late 2016. We love it! It's great to be able to meet new people and get to know more about the places we're traveling. Neither of us like the "fancy hotel & tour bus" type of traveling, so when we're not couchsurfing we're staying in hostels or other places where we can socialize more easily.

Clotilde loves travelling, dogs, photography and when there's an opportunity, indulging her guilty pleasure of watching French TV show on replay!

Matt loves reading, writing, travelling, computer games, hiking, snowboarding and meeting new people during all of those activities. It is, however, somewhat more difficult to meet new people while reading. He's still trying to figure out how to do that.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Clo was very excited when she had a book of her dog pictures published in 2011, and a couple years after that she married her best friend who happens to be a pretty good looking guy.

Matt completed the Iron Man in Bintan in 2015 thanks mostly to his wife's encouragement and some foolish friends who also trained with him.

Together they spent a few weeks trekking in the Nepalese Himalayas during the middle of winter in 2015. What a spectacularly beautiful country and even better when you only see a few people a day.
