I am former circus contortionist turned Chinese medicine practitioner. I craft herbal ointments and salves, work in a clinic that specializes in cancer care and am finishing my Doctorate degree. Also, I am a Tendai Buddhist monk.

Meeting locals and artists is wherever I go is very important to me. I appreciate multiple perspectives on life- the truth is stereoscopic and I hope to learn more through the eyes of others.

I am gay, don't drink or eat meat and I don't party. Conversation, tea, coffee, walks, and learning are my entertainment. I am fairly radical in my open-mindedness and value people for their heart and actions rather than their past or style.

I have couch surfed in Guangzhou, China, Upstate NY at a couple of folk's homes. It was great! Nothing makes a person feel comfortable like meeting people who know a city and show you their own lives.
