Overview
About Me
I live with my girlfriend in Paris. I'm an engineer working in computer science. I often describe myself as someone who eats fast, drinks fast and walk fast, however I am calm and very careful.
I love to go deep into things and when I get into a new hobby or field of interest, I have to try to master it at the maximum.
I am trully afraid of getting old and thus am always trying to enjoy my youth while I can. That's why I love travelling and never loses any occasion to do so.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Best part of travelling is getting to meet people from different cultures. It is the best way to open one's mind and to learn things. Although new to couchsurfing I am convinced that this is a very very good way to do so. Also you never get better advices about a place you visit than those given by the locals.
Interests
I love cinema, all kinds of cinemas, from the most mainstream to Werner Herzog's first films. I listen to a lot of music, I don't read as much as I'd like.
I go out often to bars and restaurants, and when I travel I love discovering new gastronomies. I am very adventurous when it comes to taste and can eat almost anything (apart from pistachios and mangos to which I am alergic).

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite movies include the ones by japanese director Akira Kurosawa such as Living and The Seven Samurais. Other directors I am found of are W. Herzog, Kubrick (of course), Bergman and Bunuel (but I could go on for hours talking about movies...).
Favorite music used to be trip-hop (Portishead, Massive Attack...), Pink Floyd, Led Zep... And now I am starting to love more folk-rock music like Sufjan Stevens.
I don't read as much as I'd like to, but I loved all that I've read from Borges. Lately I loved reading Limonov by Carrere...
