HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met two girls on top of Flat Top Mountain in Anchorage, Alaska, U.S. that were couchsurfing to visit Alaska. My brother and I were backpacking for nine days so they told us all about "Couch Surfing" and I want to try it out!!
Now, I have surfed on two occassions with a wonderful family in Wettingen, Switzerland. It was a great experience. I was shown around town and was given a lot of help orienting myself.
Also, I lived in Poland and met a friend I became very close to, and she turned out to be a couchsurfer as well! So, though I never slept at her place (I had my own) I can say that surfing with her is an awesome experience because of the hospitality I received from spending a lot of time at her house.

I spent a month and a half living in a tent near Truckee, California, U.S. It was the first time I had really left home and it changed my life. now I'm an avid traveller. I wish I had known about Couch Surfing at the time because it got pretty cold some nights...
