About Me
Hey, I’m Clyde — born and raised in Singapore, living in Singapore now but always scheming my next escape outdoors. I’ve spent the last few years exploring everything from mountain trails in Patagonia to quiet tea houses in China. Hiking’s my therapy, though sometimes I wonder if I like the suffering part a bit too much.
I’m the kind of traveler who talks too much on long bus rides, laughs at my own bad jokes, and somehow ends up discussing football tactics with strangers halfway across the world. (If you’re into football, be warned — I’ll probably bring up FC Barcelona at some point.)
I love seeing how people live in different parts of the world, from what they eat, how they spend a normal Tuesday, the little habits that make a place feel alive. Couchsurfing, to me, is exactly that. Sharing real moments with people instead of just ticking off sightseeing lists.
I’m tidy, low-maintenance, and can adapt to pretty much any setup. I can help cook, clean, or walk your dog if you’ve got one...I’ve got a mischievous one back home who keeps stealing my stuffed toys, so I’m good with animals.
Mostly, I just like good conversation — the kind that makes you see things differently or laugh till you forget what time it is.
If you’ve got a couch, a spare room, or even just some local tips, I’ll be grateful. I’ll bring stories, good vibes, and probably a few bad puns.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people who actually live the places I visit, not just pass through them. I'd rather share a meal and a good story than check off another tourist spot.
Interests
Hiking, football, music, and FC Barcelona basically sum me up. I love being outdoors, finding quiet trails, and debating football tactics like it's life or death.

Watching sunrise at Laguna de los Tres after a long cold night hike in Patagonia - brutal and beautiful all at once.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some Singlish and wine knowledge, share travel stories, and help cook (or at least wash up). Always down to learn local slang, recipes, or your favorite hidden spots.
