I wanto to take every oppertunity I have this year to see as much of the world as I possibly can and meeting as many fascinating people as possible!!!

ABOUT ME

I am a 23 year old American English teacher, currently living in Amman Jordan. I am the oldest of five kids from a pretty crazy family in Chicago. I love hiking, sports (especially American football), and exploring new cities. I love to meet new people, drink a nice cup of coffee, or meet up with people for a beer. While I am living abroad, I am trying to take the chance to visit as many new places as possible and talk to as many new people!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that boundaries are made to be broken. Breaking boundaries, to me, can be anything from trying a singing class when I am scared to sing, talking to someone who I don't think likes me, or traveling the world alone. It is about going outside my comfort zone. These are the moments when you learn the most about yourself and about others. Also, I love to laugh, make people laugh, enjoy life, and SMILE!!!

I am looking to meet for coffee or lunch with people while I am in Amman, Jordan this year. I have hosted people who were visiting Amman.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met up with and hosted surfers in Amman, Jordan. Hopefully I will get to do some surfing this summer.

Interessen

I am interested in talking to people and learning about the things that are most important to them. I love to read and play sports. I am discovering that I really enjoy hiking and the outdoors. I love seeing new places and trying new, local foods (and drinks)! I love to travel without a plan and to see as much f the world as possible.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love Jodi Picoult; she takes what seems to be a black and white issue and paints it all the shades of grey. I love the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo because the author touches on some pretty tense subjects without shrinking. I also love historical fictions that teach me what the world was like at a certain point in time. As far as movies go, I love them all. Serious movies (ones who have won Oscars) are my favorite, but anything that can make me think (or has Leonardo DiCaprio in it) is worth watching.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have swam in the Dead Sea to see the sunrise over the mountains, and I have seen fireworks from a skyscraper in Chicago.
