About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to find that endlessly changing horizon –– the new and different sun.
ABOUT ME
I'm spending the 2008 - 2009 academic year studying in Paris, France.
I'm a student at DePaul University. I am a French major with minors in Arabic and Religious Studies. I'm still trying to figure out how I will translate all that into a fulfilling career, but I've got a couple years to get things straight. I love people -- I get a lot of energy from talking, sharing, and learning about life. I LOVE music and playing in my band, Damn Cats (rauwr). In general, I'm a really easy-going guy who likes to keep things spontaneous and fun!
PHILOSOPHY
"Nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun." -- Christopher McCandless

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I swam in the English Channel while spending a weekend in Normandy, and contemplated what it must have been like to storm the very same beaches on D-Day...

Perhaps I can teach you to play a ditty on the ukulele. From my studies and film-watching, I know just a little bit about the incredible field of linguistics. I'd love to talk to you about it...
