About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to travel as much as I can, meet as many people as I can, taste as many cuisines as possible!

ABOUT ME

I am addicted to Starbucks coffee, I love to read, travel, write, ski, play tennis, swim in the OCEAN, meet new people. I am a nerd and I actually love school, especially studying different religions and cultures. I love talking to new people about their different adventures, and sharing stories from my sometimes disastrous travels.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to get a look at everything from the inside. When I'm traveling, I like to soak up the atmosphere of each place rather than jump from monument to monument.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've met so many people traveling here in India--everyone keeps recommending couch surfing, so I decided I needed to give it a try while I'm still abroad and someday I hope to go home and host some travellers who are in USA.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't surfed yet, but I'm looking forward to it after the stories I've heard from my international friends from Rishikesh, India.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Officially, the Taj Mahal is one of the coolest things I've seen. Rafting in the Ganges, in Rishikesh (read: Himalayas) in January...not the smartest, but also cool.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've spent over a year living in India and volunteering with street children...the experience has really changed the way I look at life and view the world. When I travel I hope that I can get an insiders' perspective on each place I visit, so that i don't just see the tourist sights but also meet the people and get a deep feel for the culture, the lifestyle, the problems of the country, etc. I love life.
