About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Be a good person, a good dad, a good husband, a good civil servant, a good descendant, a good ancestor.
ABOUT ME
I love connection. With people, the natural world, culture, history, the built environment. I'm passionate about growing things. I also enjoy listening to music and reading. I enjoy being around other people, especially my family. I value community, simplicity, spirituality, justice, and living a deeply happy life. I try to live it in such a way that helps the people around me to thrive and allows all the people who come after me to thrive too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think we are all better off when we make human connections with each other. I hope to share that connection with people visiting my city. When I visit a new place, I would love to make a connection with someone . We can all learn a lot from each other.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been fortunate to stay with some generous hosts and hosted some wonderful people before I had children, all with great results. Now my kids are a little older and we have been experimenting with how Couchsurfing can fit into our family life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I swam to the outer edge of a coral atoll from the island I was staying at, and I looked down into water that was probably a mile deep. I have never been so terrified and full of awe.
