Hi! My name is Cassie and I will be doing a cotutelle PhD program (studying seals) between Australia and France. This means I will finally have an opportunity to travel Europe!

Many of my friends have hosted and visited via couchsurfing, but I have been (not so patiently) waiting for the opportunity to visit with some wonderful people. While I don't have any recommendations yet, I would greatly appreciate hosts that are willing to give me a chance!

I love exploring new places and learning about the culture and history of the region. Hiking, nature walks, exploring new cities and visiting historic sites are all of interest to me.

I have an abundance of animal tidbits and animal wrangling anecdotes from my time rehabilitating and studying wildlife. Have you ever wanted to know how to milk a seal?

My partner and I go are usually very busy, but we always make time for foreign films/TV, delicious food, and the outdoors.
I am currently learning German, French and a tiny bit of Polish, but can be a little self-conscious of my Australian accent.
