To meet new people in my travels, and get to see experience things I wouldn't have been able to experience without the help from locals.

ABOUT ME

They call me the Hick, The Burglar, The Senator, Encyclopedia Brown, and many other things. I make excuses to go out and seek adventure, which isnt very hard. I also have a motor vehicle addition problem. I am in no way sane, but enjoy the insanity nonetheless.

At the age of 5, I wanted to build up a '57 Chevy Bel Air. The idea that seemed so cute at age 5, has turned into a lifelong passion (or obsession, or addiction... ). As the years went on, my love of the outdoors moved my automotive interests from classic cars to four wheel drive vehicles. I went to college, and mangled all my experience, passion, and education into something worthwhile to do.

Today I work for Toyota, spending all my time going to four-wheel drive events, doing my marketing thing for the FJ Cruiser. 30 States and 2 Countries for 2006. Go to toyota.com/fjtrailteams so you can experience my 15 minutes of fame. I't hit 40 States thus far in 2007, with 35,000 miles of driving in the first 5 months.

I'm always traveling. I'm always down for anything new, exciting, or any strange and intresting ideas that come my way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

About a month ago I started talking with a guy in front of a 4wd shop about places to fish. 2 hours later, I was in the truck, driving 200 miles north to his Farm in Maine. That night, his wife, himself, and myself spent the night talking travels, new ideas for adventure, and great beers we have bumped into in our travels. I stayed the night, and left in the morning to find some of these fishing holes he had given me advice on the day before. Great time!
