Make some money by doing what I'm pasionnate about: helping people and organizations to grow, find their purpose and new ways of living.
Easygoing, cultured and kind, I think that's what my friends would say about me. I seldom still be shy and I definitely love to learn (I'm very curious about so many topics!).
Always ready to discuss about life, philosophy, political concerns, biology, sciences, whatever interesting and I must confess... intellectual. And don't be afraid if I advocate the Devil, I like to make people defend their opinion to fully understand it and by the way the people themselves ^^
I love helping people understanding who they are, what they want, how they can achieve their goals, be they students, (would be) entrepreneurs, gifted, ... I also guide organizations to change their paradigms and go toward more inclusive, horizontal, governance, like in Teal model.
It's always a pleasure for me to train our brains, that's what I try to do with the students I tutor :) Listen to others, learn and construct our thoughts.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting people, offering them to visit Bordeaux, I seldom attend some CS events like monthly meeting or games parties. I love to meet foreigners, speak another language and share experiences and thoughts about the world and everything :)
Met several people at CS meetings or parties in Bordeaux and New York City. Surfed one time in NYC for two nights – it was great :) – and hosted several people in my flat.
Websurfing, nightoutings from dancefloors to games party or whatever meetings, rollerblade, model painting (Warhammer 40K mostly), photography, internet, go-out, Sci-Fi, science… Can I say women as well? ;)
- pub crawls
- house parties
- social science
Music, Movies, and Books
Sci-Fi: books, movies and TV series (we can discuss about why this is THE best genre of literature ;) ).
Nearly all kind of music, as I like to say : I enjoy good music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The best and weirdest CS night was definitely the «We Hardly Knew V Train» event, about the NYC V subway train closed forever. Fun party in it, we stopped nearly in the middle of Nowhere (to say, the Queens) and with a CSer who was looking for a room, we had to travel across overheated subway stations, crowded Manhattan, to eventually reach CSer Noah's house (not boat :p )in the early morning.
Teach, Learn, Share
Practicing personal coaching with entrepreneurs, gifted people, and very fond about new governance and management models, especially Teal organizations (Holacracy for example) and Dynamic Spiral.
I also tutor students from secondary school (eventually University) in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Life & Earth Sciences. I used to organize some meetings in English in a pub.
Beginner in photography, but improving myself, I also paint models (depends on free time and inspiration). So I can learn you to start or you can help me improve my skills.
Also, getting really involved in political concerns (not politician), I'm building some groups in my city and I'm actively promoting the Unconditional Basic Income in a national and european citizen movement we started in 2013. So I may help you to do the same ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer to share with you everything I know, to have good moments of careful listening.
As a CS member, you can have a special price for a personal coaching session, if you tell me you read this sentence ;)
