I am 25 and originally from near San Francisco, California. I love to learn about other ways of life and experience new cities - especially big cities. I recently quit my job in Washington, DC to spend half a year or so travelling. I am interested in urban planning and urban transportation, and love to use couchsurfing as a way to get to know a city better and meet fun and interesting people.

When not traveling, I spend my time playing sports, drinking new styles of beer, reading, and finding great restaurants.

I speak conversational French. I only speak a little Spanish but am trying to learn!

I am a considerate guest who is clean and low-maintenance. I am a decent cook, and would be happy to cook for any host. I am a vegetarian, and can generally find something to eat anywhere I go without much trouble.
