Hey there! I'm a teacher living the Aussie life, but originally from elsewhere—I came here 8 years ago with a backpack and big dreams, and I’ve been soaking up the sunshine (and accents) ever since. I'm a curious soul who’s all about meeting new people, trying weird-and-wonderful food, and learning languages I can barely pronounce.

My travel bug bit hard after uni—Nepal was my very first destination, all because I picked up a book in the library that claimed Nepalese people are the happiest in the world. Spoiler: it’s not entirely true, but there’s definitely something magical about that place. And get this—I actually connected with the author of that book years later. Wild, right?

Since then, I’ve wandered through different corners of Australia, explored the vibrant chaos of Vietnam and the beachy bliss of Thailand, and I’m already plotting my next adventure down south this year. Always keen for a new story, a new dish, or a new friend along the way!
