26 year old columbia grad student taking graduate courses in maternal child health, lived and studied abroad. I speak french, and study public health. I am a vegetarian and I am well traveled. I also enjoy swing and blues dancing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

provide housing for weary travelers and hosting... how u can participate...

For those of you who know about what's going on with the site.. its now couchsurfing.com...please join this group to keep abreast of the issues and to keep the CS site for the people and not a corporate sell out. We are wanting more transparency and accountability from Casey Fenton who is running the site as like a sole proprietorship though hundreds help build it. This is especially upsetting because I just sat through a presentation of his about the origins of the site and those coders who voluntarily donated their spaces/time in collectives in alaska, netherlands, thailand, berkeley to create the mission, values, design the site and even help redesign it all over after the crash. I just finished reading A brave new world, Venus in furs, Female domination, Lolita, the bhagavad gita, siddhartha and sylvia plath's bell jar. finished reading the omnivores dilemma. My summer readings were also soul on ice and freakonomics. Last movie watched was American Gangster in the movie theater.
