IMPORTANT! if you are a straight or bisexual man: DON'T EXPECT ANY SEX/ROMANCE (I hate to have to say this but after numerous bad experiences I want to make this very clear- please spare me the inconvenience and yourself the embarrassment).
Some general (hopefully obvious for most) advice to fellow couchsurfers (regardless of gender but ESPECIALLY for men planning to host/surf with women):
1. opening up your home for a complete stranger is quite a thing in todays society, please don't exploit people's kindness
2. trusting a stranger enough to sleep in their home is quite a thing as well (especially if you're a girl surfing with a guy) please don't abuse people's trust, be a good example instead of confirming the prejudice
3. being nice doesn't mean wanting to have sex
4. being(seeming) shy(uncomfortable) doesn't mean prudishly wanting you
5. being single doesn't mean wanting to have sex

I'm a friendly and open-minded person with too many interests.

I've always been calm, which people love telling me, and I used to find this quite a boring attribute.

I'm sometimes very clumsy and a hysterically slow eater. And I have a non-existing sense of orientation.

I love nature and wildlife.

I'm interested in most things that have to do with culture although I really wish I knew more about music because at times my knowledge is appallingly bad.
