ABOUT ME

I was born in Kingston, raised in Wiltshire, studied in Oxford, and currently live in Exeter where I am researching digital identity :)
I love music festivals, reading and riding my bicycle. I try to combine all three but I rarely succeed.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host as well as meet for coffee/drinks and show CSers Exeter, or take you down to the coast! I know some good restaurants too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience came when had to return to my University Halls during the Christmas vacation to collect something. I was only suppose to stay one night but unfortunately I was snowed in with no heating and no food. A desperate appeal to surrounding neighbours found me a warm couch, food, (sympathy) endless cups of tea and even someone brave enough to face the snow in their car and get me as far home as possible.

I have met so many friends from so many parts of the world through CSing - it is the best thing I ever signed up to!

The first ever Couchsurfers I had to stay with me walked in one me completely butt naked! I don't know who was more embarrassed - me or them! haha! Eek!

I have taught English to international students for a year as well as proof read C.Vs, so I am well experienced with helping people to learn English or to further develop existing skills.

Stories, I have so so so many stories. I have been told that I throw in a "One time this crazy thing happened....so we ended up in this place....and then this happened....so we had to ask this person....and then we found out this.....and then that happened" type-story in almost every conversation that I have. I don't notice it myself. Hee hee, (well, maybe a little)

I can share my research on digital identity with you which I think is really interesting! I have a great knowledge of London and Oxford, a fine taste for wine too and a great appreciation of food, culture, and people :)
