About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore and live life with no regrets

ABOUT ME

I have a daytime job but my passion is definitely music. I am currently in two bands and really believe that it's easier to express oneself through music than words sometimes.
I just finished a nutritionally therapy certification course and will soon be opening my own business! Why? Well I've personally lost 90 lbs and it's my mission to help people think about what they're putting into their bodies. I love people and want to help them!
I am really excited about health and wellness coaching because I plan to work with lower income people on eating and health habits, something that was a big struggle for me when I was younger. I hope to work in my community to dispel the myths of fastfood being cheaper and "the only option" for low income people.

PHILOSOPHY

Comes down to two things.
As a life coach I like to say, "No Regrets." It's not that I don't think there won't be any, but this is the philosophy of how I would like to feel at the end of my life.
In class recently we had to write a eulogy to figure out our life purpose - it was honestly a good exercise - and generosity was at the top of my list of things I hope to be remembered for. Generosity doesn't mean large sums of money (though it can), but it means giving of yourself through time, effort, smiles. Those things all add up and damnit, I'm going to smile at you on the street if I see you. :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed but until now never had a place large enough to host. So if you're interested in staying let me know! Basically we have space for one person, but... it's still space and in the lovely Central District of Seattle.
I've been hosted in both London and Paris and had great experiences there! I would love love love to visit more places and soon will be in New York!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

London and Paris! Last year was my first and only time couchsurfing while I was on my excursion to Europe for five weeks. It was by far one of the best experiences I've had. I met some really great people and saw things I would never have seen if I stayed at a hotel.

Interests

Muuuuuuuuuusic! Foooooood! Reading. I'm interested in lots of stuff, but really it does come down to me pretty much being next to an instrument and a notebook writing some melancholy, emo stuff.
