I was raised in Pittsburgh, PA where I was heavily involved in football & baseball. Ended up graduating HS and attending the U.S. Coast Guard Academy because I've always had a lifelong desire to serve. Majored in Electrical Engineering and continued to play 4 years of football during this time. Also, in my spare time I'd frequent the Adirondack mountains in NY or the White Mountains in NH to go hiking (usually in the winter and by myself...stupid right?). Traveled all across the U.S. and world during my time in school. I wouldn't trade that experience for the world.

Graduated from the Coast Guard Academy in 2018 & its been an adventure ever since. I still stay busy hiking, but now am a competitive CrossFit athlete on top of military obligations.

I learned how to swim when I was 4 years old and fell into a pool without any adult supervision. I was terrified and there was a thunderstorm at the time. I may have been young but that will never leave my memory!
