I grew up in Connecticut between Boston and New York City in a pretty developed area. After high school, I moved to Illinois in the United States to go to college and pursue a degree in Special Education and an emphasis in Vision Impairments. As of now, I am one year away from graduation and want to become a teacher. I love to travel, I love to meet new people and I am always looking for new experiences. Although I get along with everybody, I especially like those who share those interests!

The only way to get to know a culture is to get to know its people. I love traveling for the sole purpose of understand people who are different than me. I travel to learn and I travel to admire the lifestyles of others. Long story short, I want to get to know you.

Música, películas y libros

I enjoy all types of music. Although for the most part, I am surrounded by American pop, I love to hear the sounds and songs from around the world. I am particularly inspired by the Muslim call to prayer, the sounds of Mariache and Salsa and anything that is particularly upbeat.

I have way too many books to count or even to remember.

And... I usually fall asleep during movies. I love their art but when I am not moving, talking or being engaged, I am sleeping.
