I am currently taking it easy from my ramblin ways, and will start setting up in the beautiful city of Ithaca this summer.

I'm a laid back dude in his mid twenties, actively pursuing the most life can give. And it's the little things that inspire me, like trying new food with new friends, concerts, festivals and such.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in being the best person you can be and being in the moment 100%. Being truly respectful, honest, and a great friend makes me feel awesome. I guess the few months of boy scouts in my youth really had an impact on me, ha ha. I've been told I'm very proper lol.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I definitely have little couch surfing experience. I used the site only once when I went across America via motorcycle in the summer of 2014. Burning man was awesome! I'll be using it more frequently when i get to Ithaca for community happenings over there. That's one of the many reasons I"m going there is the strong communal vibes.

Interests

I like meeting and hanging out with new people who aren't afraid to be themselves. I just like being around folks who take the time to enjoy life and have a laugh. I enjoy music as well. Picking up any instrument and seeing what i can make from it. I enjoy it but haven't mastered it by any means. Also being in nature is the thing that makes me happiest.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music involves rock like Led Zeppelin, and Mastodon. Glam rock like David Bowie. Goth rock/new wave stuff like the Smiths on rainy days lol. I am such a sucker for nostalgic songs from the nineties. I love soul music like Otis Redding and Marvin Gaye too.

favorite movies are indie comedies or underdog films.

for books, I'm currently reading the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Totally worth reading those bad boys.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the first would be the first time I went back to Colorado. I was born there but left when I was a small child. when I turned 19 as a birthday present I got the chance to go back. as I climbed, jumped and scaled the rough terrain of the Rockies overlooking all the heards of animals in the sun, i felt a profound peace.

I was awestruck during a sailboat regatta once. we came in dead last but had the best view of the sunset

I suppose I can teach someone to sing! I love to learn, i just cant think of anything right now lol.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I must say, I am a master at cooking comfort foods. give me a little time, and I can whip up a big pot of beef stroganoff, chicken gumbo, or perhaps biscuits and gravy? I used to be a vegetarian, so I can make some sweet veggie options too.
