About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To grow out of the mental box of a one-country life, to build empathy, friendships, and the capacity for imagination; find the perspective to see beauty both in the road ahead and the home that lies behind.

ABOUT ME

Avid bookworm
Scholar of the world - politics, history, patterns, perspectives, insight
Lover of caffeine and cafés in all their forms
(Budding) language aficionado
Advocate of climbing trees wherever they present themselves
Adorer of cats on at least three continents
Broadway devotee (and an enthusiastic if not particularly virtuosic singer)

PHILOSOPHY

Never stop looking for ways to grow, for perspectives you've yet to try on for size, for ways to be more engaged, creative, connected, and fulfilled.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode camels into the Sahara desert to watch the sun set, and then climbed the dunes myself the next morning (jacket wrapped tight against the cold, toes sinking into the sand) to sit in the silence with my thoughts as the sun rose.
