ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty easy going and relaxed kind of guy. I love spontaneity and unplanned adventures. I'm originally from rural North Dakota and grew up on the farm so I love open space. I am currently studying for a Master's in astrophysics in Bonn.

I love to travel to new areas. National parks are especially high on my list. There's something about hiking outdoors without the sound of traffic, without street lights, or any kind of pavement that makes you aware of yourself.

Where I grew up, viewing the unpolluted night sky, the aurora borealis, and the milky way we common occurrences. Really, I don't know many people that grew up in as remote an area as me! At heart, I'm still a farm kid lost in the middle of a big city, but I'm always looking to try new things and expand my horizon.

Take life in stride and let nothing keep you down.

Why do I live my life? This is not an easy question to answer... I think it takes a very driven and confident person to have a solid answer for that kind of question and the reasons to back it up!

Interests

I like to do a variety of different activities skiing, hiking, and running. Listening to different music, especially live music, playing guitar, drinking good wine and beer, and reading are also some my favorite things to do.
I've also become passionate about photography and love traveling to new areas to take photos.
