I am an older couchsurfer, with a lot of experience from life. I have travelled the world 3 times, and seen more than 40 countries. I try to keep a vegetarian lifestyle when its possible.
I have tried many crazy things in life, my new project is the Unicycle. which i am determined to master one day.
i am a fairly good cook, and in the past made cakes for an arts cinema.
I am at present residing in cuenca, but usually live in Madrid.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why am i couchsurfing? I have tried many times in the past without any success, so this is my umpteenth time.
I dont expect much success because it seems like i´ve got no history in this community.
i like the old adage, if you 1st dont succeed try try again.

Interests

60s, 70s+80s, plus a bit of classical, and irish music.
books, war and peace, son and lovers, les miserables, thomas hardy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

cycled from north west eire to Dublin port in 2 days, 12 hours cycling per day to catch the boat.
cycled from south of the south island to north island in new zealand in 5 weeks.
cycled and hitchiked most of Scotland.
