CURRENT MISSION

After 1 year in Moscow, it's time to go home!! We've decided to take the long route though, as in: accross Russian, down through Mongolia and China and a flight from Hong Kong... More borsh anyone?

ABOUT ME

Born on an island with a population of only 100, but at least blessed enough to move early on towards the big smoke of Glasgow, much of the world remained a mystery to me at a young age! However, as if make up for this, i have just spent my 21st year of life in the crazy city of Moscow, and it has certainly been one of the best yet.

My parents are ofcourse thrilled that I am studying Russian Lang. and Central and Eastern Studies at university and not Law, but guess I like to study things and go to places, that are infact a bit different! I love life in Glasgow, and in Scotland in general, but i do believe you've got to get out there and see and learn from places both nearby and far off.

Never content with just a sandy beach and the sun, I am allways on the look-out for trails to hike/run, peaks to scale, things to jump off of, planes to jump out of, cold beer and ofcourse random people to meet along the way!

i guess you could say I'm an active kind of character!

The Russian diet of vodka, lard and blini has taken it's toll on my poor body! So there's nothing I like better than whipping on the shorts and getting a good sweat on! I'm the kind of person happy and content with any kind of ball, but amongst my favourite sports are: athletics, skydiving, boxing, swimming, rugby.

Perhaps not a sport, but as of more recently i have taken to the Russian "Banya" tradition. to drink and eat with fellow companions before getting into a steam room and nakedly whack one other with branches is a wonderful way to pass the time. Afterwards, a quick trip to a lake/snow is always a must!

lastly ofcourse what idiot on this website isn't going to write travelling! so here it is: i like to travel. whenever i can!
