I am German nationality, but live in Taiwan for 21 Years. I am married with a Taiwanese. My kids grown up, and I will be back on the road. I love traveling, meeting people and get some idea of their way of life.

it is a great idea, to meet people and exchange, ideas, views, culture and make friends. Traveling for me is not just show photos later, it is important to meet people. so never I go with package, I always travel as a backpacker, so I have no fixed schedule.

traveled in China 40 years ago for 9 weeks as backpacker, in a time officially that was not allowed. It was great. On the country side people never had seen a western face and looked at me with open mouth.
