Overview
About Me
I grew up on a livestock+grain farm in rural Alberta located approximately 1.5 hour Southeast of Edmonton and now own my own business for 12+ years managing the reclamation of large disturbance projects.
I have used Couchsurfing and workaway for our own travels in the past and would love to host likeminded travellers. I can pick travellers up from the airport if it works into our schedule. Just give me a message to try and arrange it.
I offer bedroom with queen sized bed to travellers, their own bathroom and parking stall (if needed) :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Simply to pay it forward from those that have hosted us during our travels.
Interests
I love my work which takes my outdoors all day, everyday. Working towards developing a workaway/couchsurfing residence on an abandoned acreage on my parents farm land in Alberta, Canada.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled for more than an accumulated 5.5 years.
Teach, Learn, Share
Annually guest lecture at colleges in Alberta with future goals of becoming a professor when I’m out of the field.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m extremely respectful and appreciate cultures of different regions of the world. I can amaze myself by walking around aimlessly in a place I’ve never been.
The 2 bedroom apartment is brand new and is close to Anthony Henday (the ring road around Edmonton) making it easily and cheaply accessible from the airport.
