Growing up I always wanted to be outdoors, experiencing all of the magic the natural world has to offer; finding joy and novelty under each rock, stick and leaf. Diversity has always interested me, whether that is the diversity of life in the back-forty, the physical makeup of the land and architecture around me, or the ever-expanding wealth of knowledge, music, food, and culture spead across the globe.

I like to describe my music tastes by saying that while I may not like every artist, band, or group; there are no bad genres and I’m always interested in listening to new music!
Definitely not the biggest movie buff in the world, but a couple of my favourites are Les Intouchables, The 100 Foot Journey, My Octopus Teacher & Good Will Hunting. Always keen on a good documentary too!
As for literature; recently I’ve been delving into some Canadian Indigenous authors, such as Richard Wagamese. Enjoy some fictional classics like Harry Potter, and Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series as well.
