About Me
Hi! So, I am focusing on becoming a full-time freelance writer/copywriter/editor. In the meantime, my current plan is to work as a seafood processor in Alaska in mid June, and use the money I earn there to travel to India and live there for a couple of years as I hone my skills and focus in on a writing career.
I used to own a farm in California, I love animals, I don't currently smoke but am 420 friendly but do not tolerate hard drugs of any sort.
I am very clean and organized, easy to get along with and quiet. I am comfortable sleeping anywhere with a roof, couch, pullout bed, floor, anything as long as my luggage and myself will be safe
I will be spending 2 years in India after I save money in Alaska. There I will be learning Hindi, how to cook food from all over India, volunteering to help cook and clean in temples, and studying writing and Muay Thai. I love the culture and the people there, and am determined to become fluent in Hindi and learn all their amazing cuisine (I cook a lot of curries and breads at home, but I know it's not authentic haha)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I need a safe place to stay in Seattle while I save money and wait for my flight to Alaska in mid-june. My current housing is a seasonal work housing in Estes Park, but my managers have begun using heavy drugs on shift and it's actually getting very sketchy/worrisome, so I am hoping to find a cheap or free living solution in Seattle while I wait for the plane ticket as I don't really feel comfortable with the housing here anymore.
Sadly I'm kinda broke, but I am a great cook and can cook for you, clean your home and do yardwork and maintenance tasks in trade

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ran an egg farm in California on a personally built sustainable homestead!
I didn't own the land and gave everything to the owners when they came back from their time living abroad, but it was a lot of fun and I would definitely do it again once I own my own land!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you writing skills, how to set up poetry, and express yourself through the written word. I'd love to read some of your work and share my thoughts and vice versa. I could also teach you how to make pixel art for videogames, I have had a lot of fun doing that
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am an extremely knowledgeable chef, having worked in kitchens for many years. I am also a skilled and practiced writer and can share poetry and would love to have long conversations about our lives and philosophy
