Overview
About Me
Politics, art and literature are some of my favorite things...unless I’m eating. If I’m eating that’s my favorite thing. Currently finishing a Masters at Alma Mater Studiorum Universitá di Bologna, my Italian is coming along nicely—linguistically and in the kitchen!
I love to find time to explore new spots, especially neighboring towns by train, cook for friends, or attend the opera or galleries on my own.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm interested in building community while on the road and hope to meet others who want to do the same.
I'm looking for a different kind of experience on my next trip, ideally one that is more casual and possibly more social than staying in traditional accommodations. I travel alone when I travel, and LOVE to meet new people.
Interests
Books, coffee, wine, any food with capers, art and people watching while enjoying all of the aforementioned things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I tripped a purse snatcher and got the bag back.
Teach, Learn, Share
Ask me about politics, philosophy, garage music. I’ve cached myriad ‘authentic’ recipes here in Bologna and I’m ready to teach you and adapt ‘em for any dietary requirement.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation, a laugh, book recomendations and a meal.
