About Me
This is more of a joint account for my girlfriend, Emily, and I:) We're both from South Texas and are in our early 20's. We have been together for about 5 years and decided a couple months ago to quit our jobs, not renew our leases, and travel!! We have been on the road since August, travelling the western and midwestern States, and plan on continuing this path until about May when we'll be flying to South America and backpacking there! :)
We each have a cat, two siblings from the same litter, who are staying with dear friends and family right now. We both love trying new things and adventure (big suprise) and really like being outdoors. We both have bachelor's degrees, Emily's in Social Work, and mine in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology and Ecology.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We heard about Couchsurfing through friends we made while volunteering at a Krishna Temple in Utah! We have been mainly tent camping throughout the western United States, and plan on doing more volunteering through Workaway along our journey. We thought this would be a nice addition to our trip for places we aren't planning on staying very long, and it'd be great to meet people who know the area! :))

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Coleman- Convinced Emily to travel with me with no set plans! (She's very type-A /likes to be prepared)
Emily- I have a crazy fear of heights (I'm working on it) and hiked Wheeler Peak, the tallest point in New Mexico, elevation 13,167 ft. Plus, this trip is pretty cool lol.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can share fun stories of our trip so far! Coleman could teach you guitar or ukulele if you're interested. We could also share a night together out on the town or share a day together hiking nearby trails:)
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can cook you a really yummy dinner! We can clean/do chores around the house. And of course offer conversation and kindness!! :)
