Overview
About Me
I'm born in the french-speaking part of Switzerland. At 16 years old I decided to leave the familiy home and live a truer life. At the beginning it was very difficult. Then I discovered a lot of ways to live without money. I discovered freeganism and dumpster-diving (Swiss bins are real pantries) and I met a lot of people. With perseverance I succeeded to find little jobs and now I have a stable post in railways. In Winter I'm ski instructor
I love travelling. Sometimes I travel only three or four days in my own country either on cycle or by hitchhiking. I like also hiking. In Switzerland, there are two ways to hike : You can spend 100 francs per night to sleep in a "cabane", but I prefer the second way which consists to sleep under a tarp or even on a hammock if there are trees.
I spend time in library too to read especially about philosophy.
I'm interested about languages and I want try to improve my german.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't want to be a tourist, but rather a traveller. When I visit a region, I'm interested in meeting the local people, know their culture and discover their thoughts. That's why I like couchsurfing better than hotels (no money for that anyway). I hate global consumerist tourism which make that all cities in the world become similar.
