ABOUT ME

My wife and I like to travel together (so this represents both of us). I am from Seattle, WA, and she is from Shanghai, China, but came to the US when she was in elementary school. We have been married 2.5 years and live in Seattle. She works at Google, and I am an engineer, currently working on boats.

Never gone before, but I know people who have had good experiences.

Interests

Cooking and eating with friends, hiking, skiing. We like getting together with friends from elsewhere in the world to learn from each other and eat good food.
When we travel, I like to get away from the tourists as much as I can and experience the local culture and food. We do like to sit on the beach sometimes, but I'd rather go hiking in unfamiliar places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Perhaps it's too mundane, but I like the simple things: In the past three years, when I've stayed twice on top of a mountain, I've seen the most amazing sunrises and sunsets. There's nothing like it.
