Travel around Europe for 2 months to broaden my horizons and meet new people!

ABOUT ME

I grew up on a farm outside of Boulder, Colorado, where I learned to cook and grow food, take care of animals, and gained a passion for the outdoors. I am passionate about entrepreneurship, and have worked in a number of startups.

PHILOSOPHY

"Anyone can cook," from the movie Ratatouille. I love that philosophy - anyone can succeed in creating something beautiful, as long as they apply passion, creativity, and perseverance.

I will cook and wash dishes for you! I also have some good stories and a few magic tricks up my sleeve. I love to share experiences, ambitions, and passion with other people.

I haven't yet had the opportunity to CouchSurf, but it's always been something I've wanted to try!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a voracious reader. I enjoy a wide range of topics, but especially books that combine real elements and settings with fictional ones - like Michener and James Clavell. I also love science and brought a Stephen Hawking book with me to NZ! Very wide range of music styles as well, rarely watch movies but my favourite is Get Smart!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love those moments when nature takes your breath away. From sunrises to forests and beaches, there is so much to see and enjoy. Here in New Zealand I find myself tramping and saying 'wow!' every five minutes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking and sharing meals with friends. I've made hundreds of loaves of homemade bread, as well as homemade cheese and jam. I love the way cooking brings people together for an experience that anyone can share.
