About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to prove the existence of unicorn overlords. Also growing a beard. But more importantly to travel, enjoy life and meet new awesome people!
ABOUT ME
I'm a simple and easy going person with a kind of weird sense of humour. I really love to have a good laugh but at first touch i might be reserved and kind of shy so I guess it only takes a little time to get to know me! I'm opened minded and very curious! I love to live and experience new things. I'm currently doing a student exchange in Barcelona, Spain.
PHILOSOPHY
"On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux."
-Le petit Prince
"It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."
-The little Prince

Interests
Well I'm curious of nature I like all kinds of stuff. I read a lot, love traveling, going to the museum, listening to live jams, hanging out with friends, hiking for days, doing bicycle... But one thing I really love is music in general. I'm very curious and always enjoy discovering new bands, music from everywhere. I play the drums and I'm currently in a Brazilian percussion group here in Barcelona. I'm also a science guy, I'm fascinated to everything related to it. And well, I’m also kind of a geek. Space things and superhero and swords and stuff. Doesn't matter right? You guys still like me right?

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I really like cinema, I see a lot of movies! My favorite director would be Tarantino. Here are some movies I love: Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Pulp Fiction, Lock, stock & two smoking barrels, Star wars, Lord of the rings, Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios, Astérix et Obélix: Mission Cléopatre, Harry Potter (I have no shame)... And of course from time to time, a big blockbuster straight from hollywood always gives me a good time.
Music: I listen pretty much anything but I'd stay that mostly it's alternative rock/indie. Bands like Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Modest Mouse, Radiohead, Coldplay, Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, Metric, Black Keys, Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, TV on the Radio, The XX, Mumford and Sons, Phoenix, The Kills, The National, Rural Alberta Advantage, Arctic Monkeys and well, much more... Really love music!
Books: It unfortunate but I don't read as much as I would like to... Authors I did read and loved: George Orwell (1984, Animal Farm), Milan Kundera (The unbearable lightness of being, The farewell waltz), Nancy Houston (The mark of the Angel, The Goldberg variations), Isaac Asimov (The robots), Ray Bradbury (Farenheit 451), Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt (La part de l'autre), Albert Camus (Mythe de Sisyphe, La peste, L'étranger, La chute), Gabriel Garcia Marquez (100 años de soledad, Crónica de una muerte anunciada).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been backpacking in Thailand for over a month a couple of years ago and I think it's the travel that most changed me. Hiking for days in the jungle, spending nights in villages of hill tribes, the Karen, visiting natural parks for elephants, getting to see refuge camps at the border with Myanmar. This travel changed a lot my vision I have of things today, seeing beautiful landscapes and nature and meeting exceptional people but at the same time seeing distress and poberty. Makes you want to make a difference.
