ABOUT ME

I am a young professional, working in IT Project Management. I traveled a lot while I grew up - I was Born in South Africa and then moved to England and then to Botswana, and then back to England - so I have a passion for visiting new places and learning about different cultures and outlooks. I enjoy jogging, hiking, and sailing (I have a Day Skippers License from the RYA).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I do not currently have an apartment of my own as I am Emigrating to Singapore so at present I am looking to stay with people in Singapore who are friendly and happy to advise me about the city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed for extended periods with friends and once or twice with people I met while traveling but I am new to the organised couch surfing website!

I've spent 30 days hiking across some of the Himalayas and climbed a mountain 5500m high in Nepal (Chukung Ri), I've swam across one of England's biggest lakes (Lake Windemere), I've spent 5 days traversing the Drakensburg mountains in South Africa, I've got a day skippers sailing license and been sailing in both England and South Africa, I've been on many safaris seeing African wildlife, I've road tripped around europe....

I have a degree i Psychology and did A-Levels (end of high school exams) in English Literature, Philosophy, Economics and General Studies. I would be happy to teach what I know about any of those topics. I'd love to learn more about local customs, martial arts, yoga eastern philosophy
