I'm one of those people who WILL talk to you on the plane. After spending the last 8 months in the Midwestern United States working at a health software company, my next step the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. While not traveling the couchsurfing community has been a huge help in making me feel at home.

Reading Mountains Beyond Mountains basically helped me start my current life and ignite my passion for global health. Mindset by Carol Dweck gave me a necessary perspective change and motivation after graduation. Guns, Germs, and Steel helps answer the question: "why are some countries poor and others ridiculously rich" -- it's really interesting, I'd love to tell you more about the theory (so you won't have to read the whole thing).
