ABOUT ME

Surf Traveller. I have spent most of my life missioning around the world and finding "the ultimate wave". I have lived and exceeded all my dreams extensively.

I'm Passionate, Friendly, Creative, Fearless, Honest, a Dreamer :), unstoppable. Currently based in one of my favourite places in South Africa - Nottingham Road. Super close to the berg, 1 hour and a half to the beach. I try make missions to the coast whenever the conditions are "ON", but will be interested in missions anywhere in the berg or Lesotho.

I'm always excited to meet new international people, and share experiences and the adventure of Africa whatever that may be.

I love Bodyboarding, Shortboarding and Longboarding.
I have now left my videography in the hands of the corporate world and now just focus on surfing and riding as much as I can with friends.
I believe in riding the right board for the right wave. Period. Love big heavy dangerous waves, or anything else that's working. I have over 19 years experience travelling the South African Coastline.

I have had the privilege of working with most of the World Champion Surfers and on the ASP with guys such as CJ Hobgood, Andy Irons, and the IBA such as Mike Stewart, Jeff Hubbard, Andre Botha and have created many international Surf Documentaries around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a spare room, double sleeper couch plus another huge couch in the lounge. Super close to the Nottingham Road Hotel Pub, Restautants and Spar.

>> We are also super close to Lesotho, Sani Pass and the Berg..
Nottingham Road is the ultimate tourist destination in Natal.

>> I'm one of the Best Surf guides in the country :) lol
Although I'm based in Nottingham Road we still make missions to the coast most weekends. 1.30 mins to the beach. Can coach surfing, bodyboarding, longboarding. I have been riding the whole South African Coast line for the last 19 years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been lucky enough to surf around the whole world. Travelling, Riding the waves, and meeting people around the world which have been the best experiences of my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Riding and Sharing big waves with my mates around the world mainly in Hawaii, Mexico and Indonesia.
2. Seeing the Cascading waterfall in Mexico.
3. Hiking through the caves to Padang Padang : indonesia
4. Seeing 12 - 15 ft waves break out at Gland for over a 1 km with no one else out
5. Seeing the Komodo Dragon
