Our names are Colleen & Josh and we are currently looking to house sit around Costa Rica as a way to afford our new traveling lifestyle. We are extremely responsible, friendly, and reliable. We previously resided in Florida where Josh was a physics teacher and I worked at the county hospital in the ER. We decided to move to Costa Rica and house sit as a way to afford to live and visit many locations. We are looking to stay at houses with general amenities such as wifi because we will be working online as a way to supplement our income. We want to sit for families that are friendly and trustworthy as well. We will give you our all and just ask for your kindness in return :) We have been in Costa Rica for almost two months now and loving every minute of it. We are extremely experienced. I started a small house sitting business in my local city in South Florida 5 years ago. The business dubbed "Second Generation House SItters" started with my mom and I house sitting for friends of ours and has grown into a successful small business with three employees working under us. We currently have around 25 families we house sit for on a regular basis and more are being added on! We decided to take our skills to Costa Rica and would love to stay at your house! We have completed two house-sits in Costa Rica so far and looking to continue.

We are Couchsurfing as a way to afford our travels through Costa Rica. We are loving the beautiful country and would love to see even more. We are not ready to settle in a specific place so we are Couchsurfing as a way to afford our travels and to meet new people. One of the best things about Costa Rica so far is the people and our experiences we have shared with them. We want to continue to grow our friend's list in Costa Rica :)

Interests

We are outdoor and animal lovers to our core. We have immensely enjoyed the outdoor lifestyle of Costa Rica. We have hiked through the mountains and waterfalls and surfed at some of the best beaches so far. We love to travel and have been to several countries around the world. We love to meet new people and learn about new cultures. We are fully devoted to embracing the Pura Vida lifestyle of Costa Rica.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is punk rock from the 1990's, bands such as Blink 182 and Greenday. My favorite movie is a tough one because I love to watch movies. It might be a tie between Sweet Home Alabama, Love Actually, and Mean Girls. My all-time favorite book is The Alchemist. It was the most introspective book I have ever read and made me think deep into my life and soul, a MUST recommend.
Josh loves all kinds of music including country, hits of the 80's and 90's, and shag dancing music. He also has a few favorite movies including jaws, Scarface and the Godfather. His favorite books include Frankenstein, Moby Dick, The Great Gatsby, and The 007 series.
