I am very lucky to live with my partner and our 7-year-old in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire, where amazing hiking, skiing, paddling, and swimming are all right in our backyard. I am a forest scientist working on understanding how forests can be best managed to limit climate change. I haven't done much traveling since my son was born, but I'm hoping to get back into it now that he's old enough to carry his own bag!

I have experienced endless kindness in my travels, and I'd like to pay some of that forward to other travelers.
