I am a recently graduated college student looking to go far and wide where ever and when ever I can. I believe this life is to short not to do your best to see all the wonders the world has to offer, and to give back to others who you connect with along the way. I am currently on my way to Nevada from New York for a job opening and am driving cross country to see the sights and meet good people.

During my travels in Finland, I met a man from Hungary who was traveling the world. He left his job and took to the road with an open mind and eagerness to learn everything he could about the cultures he found and the people he met. I knew he had a prospective outlook on life and liked to spread kindness and understanding around the world. This type of mentality really stuck with me and I want to follow in my friend's footsteps to meet others around the world and help where I can. This is my main reason for couchsurfing as it allows travelers a chance to connect into other's lives for a chance to affect them positively and spread kindness wherever needed.
